A hiking trail in the Zadné Meďodoly valley passes in its upper part through a vulnerable environment. Destructive morfodynamic processes along with anthropogenic processes form the look of the hiking trail and its immediate surroundings. Research of morphodynamic phenomena reveals increased frequency and intensity of processes associated with the development of avalanche chutes in the Zadné Meďodoly valley and the Vyšné Kopské sedlo saddleback. Other relevant processes include specific ´gliding avalanche´, nivation associated with the occurrence of snow and wind fields around the saddlebacks and depressions on the crests and ridges. Individual plant associations and the individual species respond to the tourist trampling differently. Species with very small and small resistance take significant dominance. Monitoring of the valley is required.
