The structure of rubber industry production offers good possibilities for forming a function system for collection and classification of rubbery waste. Two thirds of india-rubber (caoutchouc) are used for production of pneumatic tyres. By utilization of secondary raw materials from the rubbery waste of rubbery production it is possible to save the half of primary natural resources. Our present knowledge about recyclation of waste pneumatic tyres and the existing machinery enable to build functional and economically effective technological lines. Mechanical lines acquitted well from economic point of view. Technological processes of rubbery waste utilization to secondary raw materials are not universal and they depend on concrete conditions of production, especially on the structure of primary materials and characteristics of final products. Technical problems appear also in crushing of pneumatic tyres, mainly by wire cord. For an insufficient applicability the recycling of pneumatic tyres is not used generally. The application of the secondary raw material from pneumatic tyres needs a more intensive support of research. The article brings examples of the activity of the firm REGUM showing that at a more complex approach to the problem of recycling of old pneumatic tyres it may become interesting also for enterpreneurs.
