The total energy content of the above-ground biomass of tree species is 3071.041 X 106 kJ.ha-1, out of which 82.8% falls on wood, 14.9% on bark and 2.3% on leaves. In the upper half of the above-ground portion of the production space 23.9% of the wood energy value, 38.0% of the bark energy value and 83.7% of the leaves energy value are concentrated; in the upper half of the above-ground portion of the production space the total energy value is formed primarily by the crown energy value and only at a low rate also by the stem energy value (80.2 and 19.8%, respectively). In the lower half of the above-ground portion of the production space the total energy value is mainly formed by the stem energy value (90.6%), less by the crown energy value (9.4%).
