Amphibians and reptiles have unevenly settled natural and artificially adapted habitats and eco-systems and our study of their diversity also bears on the biogeographical distribution and development of their populations in rural and urban ecosystems on the territory of greater Bratislava. Data are here presented regarding the distribution of these model groups, with notes on the zoogeographical classification of the species under study in natural and urbanized habitats in the metropolitan precincts of the city of Bratislava.
